Handover inspection for passive (compartmentation, no. of exits, exits width, …etc) and active (manual and automatic fire detection and suppression systems, …etc) fire systems is required by Civil Defence to ensure the fire and life safety features are in compliance with the codes and standards under which they were designed and installed.
It is the House of Expertise responsibility to carry out inspections before requesting Civil Defense to inspect the project. To assess and test the potential fire and life safety hazards in the facilities, in accordance with the approved shop drawings.
